Sunday Shoes
Pavement, sidewalks, groomed paths, and very little chance of ruining anything you wore.
Light Shiggy
Grass, sand, easy woods, or a little mud. Trail shoes help, but this is still friendly territory.
Proper Trail
Mud, uneven ground, brush, ditches, or shallow water. Expect to get dirty and plan accordingly.
Serious Shiggy
Thick brush, deep mud or water, briars, climbs, crawls, and questionable decisions by the hare.
Maximum Shiggy
Swamp, chest-deep water, brutal terrain, heavy briars, and gear you may never want to see again.
